I cannot help you with the weight of that one as I do not have it. The material is similar being stainless steel. Maybe @tjsgarden can chime in for the Birch weight although I suspect it will be quite the same.

Yes. I’m sure you already have, but, if not, buy it.
This razor is just so good… the size and weight, the audible feedback, the efficiency, the mildness, the beauty of the razor… it is, to me, perfect.
Sadly, it has relegated ALL of my other razors to the “unused” category. I occasionally forced myself to use a different razor, but, am never happy. I will be selling my others soon and buying the R96JET version, just to have something different.
I can’t sell here due to my lack of time//activity on the page, but, I will be parting with an EJ 3ONE6, a GC (with .68-P, .84-P, and .68 JAWS plates, and a barber pole handle), a Lupo (.58 and .72 plates with a vintage thick and a bulldog handle), and a BBS (regular plus A plates, plus an HD handle). I will have to go on the Bay, I guess.
