qq: Did you get the Lupo head and MR 11 handle separately? Reason I ask is because RazoRock has a 'Bulldog' handle or 'HD' handle that looks an awful like the Maggard MR11. But the Bulldog is a little longer at 90 mm vs the MR11 at 80 mm.

Yeah, I liked the MR11 from Maggard a lot so I have three or four of them.
To me the RR Bulldog is too heavy for the Lupo head (as is their HD handle; it's paired with my R41 head).
I'm a weight & balance nerd and my razor head + handle choices reflect that. See Table 1.

Here "Balance %" = Mass(head) / Mass(Total) => representative of the balance point.
You'll see that I keep them as close as possible by the pairings.

Quick shave before dinner tonight. Rockwell 6c on R3 with a lord cool blade, Proraso red and Nivea shave balm.
I didn’t feel like R1 was doing anything so I flipped it over. Boy how it changes it. Crazy close shave. I could actually hear the hair cutting. Feels nice afterword too. Felt a little more like a straight razor shave.
