An Anglo-American collaboration from the mid-30s produced by the Four Hundred Mfg.Co. of New York and designed by James Neill of Sheffield no less, of Eclipse fame. Not an awful amount for it to do, after yesterday's somewhat miraculous shave with the Gerbault. It would however have dealt with whatever was thrown at it. Lovely differential head design in a lightweight package that feels more substantial than it is. WTG on the aggressive side, ATG with the other - job done!

Preshave: Hot shower; VDH Shave butter
Lather: VDH Shave butter
Aftershave: Cold water rinse;
No nicks; No irritation; Very Close; Very Smooth; Very Pleasant DFS+ shave. The blade was beginning to feel a bit rough so it is recycled.
