I'm very surprised I figured it out at all, let alone in a few minutes!
Nice 'Dramatic' start to the week by the way.

I can't think of a better way to start off classic week than with Old Spice. To me it just doesn't get any more classic than that. There's older for sure, but I don't know about more classic.

Vintage Classic shave today. Was never going to open the Old Spice Puck, but for a special week, why not? Both the soap and cologne we bought at a now closed store in 1961 called Skaggs and never opened. I found them along with this Fatboy in some of my FIL's stuff, that was packed away after he passed away in 1989. all I can say is WOW on the soap, super slick, heaps of lather and great face feel. Wish more soaps were still made like this. Topped off with the Old Spice made it feel as if Cecil was there with me. I guess, a tribute shave for his memory

I had a great time with all the artisan soaps last week, but as I planned for this week, It became clear that I would enjoy this week every bit as much. It looks to be very interesting, comparing the new, relatively small batch, high quality soaps with the tried and true soaps that I consider classic for a reason. I have a feeling that Czech and Speake 88, La Toja Manantiales, Tabac, D.R. Harris, Yadley , Art of Shaving and Martin de Candre will compare favorably with the new kids on the black.

A question?
I think I saw a calender of these SOTD weeks, with a schedule so we can plan ahead. If it exists, can you point me in the right direction.

I love the 1906. Beautiful art deco knurling.
