The Fili arrived today,the blade was a little loose and was closing on one of the scales,so i had to tighten it,so it's fine now,slightly larger blade than what i enjoy,but i'll get used to it

It has a plastic screw cap, for which I am grateful. Now I have to order some Veg and some way to get it into the bottle.

It was tough on the Aristocrat. While I think the two Fatboys I have are the better razors, Gillette's best IMO, the Aristocrat is certainly posh. The doors opened up so smoothly. It had the powdery, ancient remains of shaving soap still on it. I just have enough in my rotation already. Too much, really.

Better to let someone else enjoy finding it, I think.

It isn't an expense I can justify.

If I happen to be in that area again in a few months and look in on that particular display case, who can say?

If it isn't there, then one of "us" got it. If it is still there, one of "us" will get it.

I only mentioned the Aristocrat. I did not mention the cased, gold-plated Executive adjustable. That one was...pricey.
