Not made for these times.
I can see that with that blade stash.

Which reminds me, I need to start thinking about my first PIF for 2025. I'll rummage through the stash and decide on something soon, Boris.

I had another appointment this morning with my rheumatologist. My meds are being increased. They intentionally started me on a low dosage to see if I could tolerate it, and it seems that I could, so now it's time to turn up the volume.

I received my GC 1.05 tonight. I’ll take it for a spin tomorrow. It surely will be more efficient than the GC 84. Oddly enough, the aluminum Lupo is more efficient than the GC 84, despite what the IB scale says. It’ll be interesting to see where the GC 1.05 falls.

I had my first shave this morning with the GC 1.05. It's a nice razor. It's a little more efficient than the GC 84, but not drastically so. I disagree with IB scale that has it more aggressive than the Lupo 95. On my face and technique, that's not the case. The GC 1.05 has practically no blade feel compared to the Lupo 95, where you know there's a knife edge on your skin. The GC 1.05 is about as efficient as the Lupo 95 without the aggressive feeling and the likelihood of it biting you. Where the GC 1.05 bests the Lupo 95 is shaving ATG. It has no problem on my difficult hair that lies flat against the skin, whereas the Lupo 95 tends to pull at it rather than cutting it.

The GC 1.05 is a bit redundant with the GC 84 and Lupo 95 in that it overlaps. If you make a Venn diagram of the GC 84 and the Lupo 95, the overlapping middle area is the GC 1.05. You don't need all three.
