What's new

Speakeasy Acquisitions - August 08

Would love to hear your feedback on the Por Larannagas. Have a customer that loves the non-cubans. But curious about the Habanas. Thanx

The Habanos version is quite full bodied and truely superb.:thumbup1:

Por Larranagas are hands down my favorite cigar, very nice purchase and very jealous indeed. :001_smile

I think that this is by far the most overlooked Habano. I try to have a box of these in my humidor at all times, definitely one of my favorite cigars period.

Prior to watching my youngest represent Staffordshire in a cricket festival, last week, in Taunton, Somerset

Blackcat records in the town centre, yielded the following:

Yo La Tengo - I'm Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your *** (Double LP)

The Undisputed Truth - The Undisputed Truth

Yesterday I was in London,

From Fopp:

Shelby Lynne - Just A Little Lovin'

From Sister Ray:

Johnny Cash - American IV (Double LP)

The list below is being scanned for a visit in the near future :tongue_sm

John, that is sweet....Did you do the work?...Nice!!!!

If you're talking about the kids, yes. If you're talking about the cabinets, no. I'm actually pretty good with wood, but I just don't have the time or equipment right now. Luckily, my father-in-law is a general contractor, so I get the names of all his buddies. The guy that did it is amazing and does some of the nicest work I've seen. Not cheap, but we got the friend's discount. Unfortunately, the opening only allowed me to squeek in a thin bezel 46 inch TV. My wife didn't approve of my idea to "move the wall and replumb the water heater behind the wall to make way for a 52 inch." The TV is on a Peerless mount (thanks for the advice Jim!) which lets us pull it out and rotate.
