Menthol Monday, I should have used Proraso Green.
A great shave with a new to me Schick. Today was a L1 with a black handle. Yesterday I used a J1, white handle. The sahves I get from the Schick injectors are some of the best shaves I get. I get a new appreciation for a BBS shave. After my week of using Gillette Tech razors that I have not used, the shaves were very good, but they can not compare to the quality of shave I get from the Colonel's amazing invention.

Gentlemen,

December is is upon us and the holiday season fast approaching. This week's theme is Italian Soaps, followed by Italian Aftershaves next week. Unfortunately, one of my sons appropriated my Cella, so I have to make due with my favorite Spanish soap.

Monday

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Shulton Old Spice Cream
Razor: Gillette Slim
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Black SP(1)
Brush: 1985 Old Spice Boar-22mmx60mm
Aftershave: Shulton Old Spice (OS Flying Cloud Flask)

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Old Spice Cream today. 5 seconds: load & go with the Old Spice boar. Easy, excellent lather! Pretty good for a 29 year old brush. I loaded a new Gillette 7 O’Clock Black in the Slim. Great, smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Shulton Old Spice.

The TFS provided a wonderful lather today but the razor didn't feel too good. No irritation from the shave but there a few spots I missed that I could get to no matter what I did. I think for this week I will have 3 shaves with the TFS and 3 with RazoRock S. Maria (that counts as Italian right?) and the final shave will be TFS or RazoRock. The tube of Ingram I've been working on will be finished next week.

While I have some Italian creams, sorry no Italian soaps... so Turkish it is!

Shower + Musgo Glyce face lather and rinse
The Art of Shaving old formula lemon shave soap
AOS badger brush
Gillette Bostonian open comb razor + Personna blade
Cool washcloth rinse
AOS lemon aftershave gel + AOS lemon cologn

A great, classic Italian soap!!
I have to wonder if P&G regrets changing supply points on their AOS soaps.
Aside from either cost or quality, there was definitely some 'mystique' with the Italian supply that is now lost.
