Spent the morning at Ben Avery Shooting Facility.

The we’re hosting End of Trail, big SASS EVENT.

Coyboy shooting, and all the participants were dress up like Cowboy n Cowgirls.

They folk were having fun. Vendors area was cool.

Wheel Guns are being kept alive.

Except Wild Bunch Matches, where they shoot 1911’s.

Event runs to Sunday, check it out.

What a great event!!! When I grow up I want to be a cowboy and go to End of Trail. I already picked up my rig for Classic Cowboy:

However, by the time I “grow up” I’ll probably have to shoot in El Patron.

I used to shoot a lot of Action Pistol and USPSA competition. In that area of competition, the conversation was always about guns, equipment, and ammo loadings.

After burning out on that, I switched to Cowboy Action because the guns and equipment was greatly simplified. At those matches, all the discussions were about the clothes. "Hey, where did you get that vest?"
