What's new

What Shaving Soap is in your rotation?

Curious what everyone awesome shaver is using in their rotation... for me:

1) L'Occitane Cade
2) Cella Tub (Least fav. of the bunch tho, but amazing lather)
3) Tabac Shaving Soap
4) Le Pere Lucien Traditional Scent
5) Proraso Green Tub
6) Mitchell's Wool Fat
7) Martin de Candre Scented

I think I got a pretty good rotation... haven't really get into artisan soap, relatively hard to get at a reasonable price in Singapore with shipping.

No rules in rotation. I use which ever i want to.

Every day a different artisan. I have several soaps from each artisan which I use in rotation.

- Cold River Soap Work Select
- Maria Arman Soaps (both TTFFC and Maggard)
- Soap Commander
- Strop Shoppe (tallow)

There's no such thing as a tough child - if you parboil them first for seven hours, they always come out tender.

I use soaps on weekends and creams through the week as I find them a bit quicker to lather.

For soaps, the current rotation is:

MWF
D R Harris Arlington
Akka Kappa 1869

For Creams:

Picadilly Sandalwood
D R Harris Lavender
TOBS Avocado
Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar

Thinking of picking up some Barrister & Mann and/or Strop Shoppe next.

I've only been wet shaving since November and I'm already overwhelmed by soaps and creams. What's currently in my regular "rotation" is hardly all that I have on my shelves:

CRSW (Savon #1, Bergamot & Bay)
Proraso blue
Tabac
B&M (most often Seville right now)
TOBS Peppermint
Catie's Bubbles (QCV)

Tabac (ED soap)
Cella
Williams Mug Soap
Captain`s Choice Bay Rum Shaving Soap by Razorock
Bebelush Barbershop Shave Soap with Shea, Mango and Cocoa Butter

Arko
La Toja
Cella
Proraso Red
WSP Fougere Noire

They all are good performers, but I am becoming a real shave stick enthusiast (Palmolive on the way!) so in the future my rotation is going to be swaying in that direction. Already the last 3 on my list aren't getting the attention that they once did.

MWF is my M-F shaver for the winter
Proraso gets sprinkled in here and there
Cella often comes on trips with me
There's one puck of a sampler pack from Ogollala at the ready, if my heart so desires.

Other than that it's a few cream samplers here and there on the weekends.

When I run out of one of the above I'm going to try a DRH soap. Unless the MWF goes first, in which case it's getting replaced.
