Straight shavers in the Bay Area?

I'm so bummed I had to miss this event at the last minute. I hope some people took some decent pictures/videos. I'm we'd all love to hear from the people that attended what were some of the "ah-ha" moments.

Sorry to have missed this. I do make it out to SF a couple of times a year or so and, if you have any further meetings, my friends in Alameda would be willing to make their house and whisky available.

Many thanks, Joel. Although being a beginner, I did learn a good deal just by having seen and heard the honing demo with my own eyes and ears (which can never be gleaned from a video) despite the lingo being flung around at a quick pace.

If you guys end up wanting to make a trip up to Napa, I'm sure I could find a venue to host an event. Couldn't make it this time -- got called in to work at the last minute.
