I went back to the R5 plate, and the Wilkinson blade was a lot more comfortable! I'm surprised that 0.1mm less gap makes any difference.

Got a comfortable near-BBS.

A truly superb shave with the Game Changer today

The GC84-P is still my favourite, with a known good blade.

Rockwell T2, Astra sp, VDH soap with a T&D Badger. Used 6 today and got a decent no thrills shave. Noticed you could hear the blade more, but no real difference in the shave. I am sure there would be a more noticeable difference if I waited more than 2 days between shaves. Either way a nice razor with no weepers at 6 and no fear that it was going to attack at any point.

Semogue Saturdays!



Hello friends

Hot Saturday around here. I chose SV 70th Anniversary for today. Semogue Pegasus Mistura starts to show itself in this fourth shave. Greencult 2.0 plate IV and Gillette Silver Blue (2) made my weekend very happy. I finished with the splendid Aqua Velva Ice Blue.
