Well gents, that should be the last shave of this year, unless of course the XO wants to go out tomorrow night but, I doubt it. I thought I’d make the last one with the razor that started it all a little over four months ago… my Grandfather’s slim. I’ve only used this razor 3 times. This one was much better than the first two.

Back to the old tried and true, my Gillette early postwar Tech and my well broken in Feather. It took a little extra time (note self, sharpen blade!) and a slight touch up in the shower with my Faux II, but the result was a 9.7. One more shave left for 2023 (?).

Used Opuntia for SV Saturday. I like this scent more than Cubebe. Got a perfect bowl-lather, and the rest of the kit lived up to it with a fine near-BBS.

Well folks this is a wrap for me, there won't be any shave tomorrow. 12 month of GRUME completed so was the GRUYERE as well and 11 out of 12 SOTM as well (darn you father's day shave on the wrong week end.

Another great shave, that Nacet blade has delivered.

Summary. I could have been more effective during this shave, but shaving with my Ti95 is always extremely pleasurable. Smooth, comfortable, effective - a great way to kick off Sunday and the last day of 2023!

Splendid shave this morning with SV Morado, probably my favorite soap of any soaps I currently have regardless of brand.
A vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Karve with a D plate open comb provided a blemish free, BBS today.

Grume completed successfully for November and December. Smooth shave this morning with RazoRock XXX Italian Shaving Soap, Rockwell T2 SS razor, and a fresh Astra SP blade. As always, I bowl lathered and used a Silvertip Badger brush. Final touch was a liberal splash of Aramis moisturizing balm.
