Help with dating a Greaves and identifying a Boker

Hi all. I was wondering if you could help me with dating this Barber's notch Greaves and son. I'm thinking somewhere 1850s maybe?

The Boker is obviously an edelweiss, the thing is, it is a 7/8. I cannot find one single piece of information on it. Theres a ton of info on 5/8. I can't even find a picture or a mention of a 7/8 anywhere online. Was it a one off or a limited production? Has anyone seen one before? Thanks

7/8 Edelweiss is something else! That's wild, and super cool. Just judging the etch quality and style with the stamp design, I really want to place it post war, but have no idea how long after the war before they were manufacturing again. The stamp isn't the modern one, it could be 30s, just the condition and detail of the acid etching makes me want to call it later.

The greaves, is it a true wedge, or hollow? Your guess could be right but the double jimping, and refined stamp, scales condition (that's wood, no?) Says later to my eye. I'm no expert though and it's a fun bit of guessing - I expect others more knowledgeable than I may chime in.
