Right now Proyan 15k is on sale from "HZ New Living Store" for less than 40 cad after discounts. I'm tempted to give it a shot.

I don't know if this store is carrying old stock with problems though.

Btw, I followed the advice here and acquired more popular synthetics - not the Proyans. I also acquired a “few” (LOL) naturals - which was always the plan.

Surgical black and transparent ark - both are Dan’s. These I have figured out and work great for my hollow grinds.

coti which I got along with a razor on eBay. Still trying to figure this out.

PA slate from Matt O. I’ve tried going from a 5K to here, but 8K seems to be better.

JNAT from a BST sale. I’m able to jump here after bevel set.

Hollow grinds are the easiest for me to hone. I’m still working on heavier grinds.
