Forum newbie checking in from the greater St. Louis area.
Started wet-shaving with a straight during university (15ish years) under the guidance of a faculty advisor (philosophy departments, eh?). Enjoyed it many years then allowed the grind of life, a couple of moves, and the need for expediency to slowly eat away at my routines.
After a few years away it is time to make self-care a priority, and rekindle the enjoyment I found in wet-shaving (and those few minutes of solace).

- A partially restored Wade & Butcher, 5/8 (great shaver, not really pretty to look at)
- Two Gillette Super Speeds
- Gillette Fatboy
- Vikings Blade Chieftain
