When you Quote / Reply, but wish to cancel the action, how do you cancel the action?

The way I have been doing it is by posting, then deleting.

I just highlight everything, including the quoted message, and hit delete.
That leaves you with an empty reply box, just as if you hadn't written anything at all.

What Phil said is typically the easiest way.

You can also click the +Quote button again to remove the quote. Or after you click Insert Quote you can select Remove to remove the quote.
