Yeah, you can get a decent shave with a cart, and yeah, it's faster than DE, and yeah, you don't have to fuss or fiddle as much, but I can say that I get a consistently better shave with DE versus carts or electric.
So carts win for time and convenience, neither of which is a considerations for me, being retired. Though if I was still working and needed to shave every day, I might feel diferently.
Electric is the worst of the bunch for me.
1. You need to spend over 100 dollars IMHO to get a half decent electric.
2. It takes space and electricity so can't use it anywhere.
3. Even the fanciest electric shaver requires maintenance and replacement heads, which are expensive.
4. The shave is inferior to what a 5 cent BIC with crappy shaving foam does.
