Excellent shave tonight with an interesting find from a certain site.

An unmarked OC, in design almost identical to a British army issue MM&S marked example I have dated 1945, except this has a polished, apparently brass top cap. Build quality is somewhat better. The bottom cap is made of the same alloy except there appears to be some plating on the top teeth.

I strongly suspect it is a civilian utilty version of the army razor for the general market.

The MM&S razor is a fantastic and efficient 1 pass shaver, which is suprisingly smooth and well-made despite hurried mass production. This civilian version is actually slightly more aggressive, but shaves and handles almost identically.

A wonderful close, highly efficient shave with a hint of bite.

Excellent.
