Razor: Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech Blade: Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum. DAY # 4 USEAGE. Soap/Cream: Cremo Classic Citrus (Secret Sent-less IMHO) Bowl: N/A Brush/Instrument: Fingers Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel
Today using my, Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech. Did a Shave with 3 passes, With, Across, &, Against the Grain, using a Gillette 7-O Clock Black Super Platinum, there was almost zero blade feel today, blade just glided, removed Beard. AWSOME BLADE. But not as Sharpe as previous 3 days use before. Not sure this Blade is not worth the cost of $0.35-$0.50/Blade? IMHO
Today’s Shave was several tads short off the achieving a perfect, rating would be 9.6+. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave. This was the 4th., time using, honestly it is starting to get dull. Think my Old Beard is still tough enough to retire the Blade on Shave #4.
Still working on same Tube of Cremo Classic Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it don’t yell Citrus. Started Tube of Cremo 01/08/2025 will be interested to see how long its lasts? But Tube is still almost Empty, might have two more days use?
Old Vintage Gillette’s, are good Razor’s, still working well enough to put a big smile on my face daily. These Old Vintage Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech, an underestimated work horse, could be almost Grail Razor at 78+ years young. I am a Vintage Gillette Junkie, they work well with Sharp New Quality Blade IMHO. Could all These super pricy Razor be HYPE, as all you need is a Vintage, and GREAT BLADE? May my Old Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech is a sheep pretending to be a Wolf.
