This morning, it was a 1960 Gillette Tech with a 7 O'Clock Yellow, (5) and done.
However, I just received this 1965 Schick, and couldn't help but try it. A 12.5 hr stubble qualifies as shave ready
Loaded it with a GSB on its 2nd shave.
Never used a Schick before. It felt more aggressive than contemporary Gillettes. Not an aggressive razor per se, still on a safer / milder side, but definitely more blade feel and feedback than, say, 1966 or 67 Superspeeds. Also very different balance. In a way, a more "modern" razor both in aesthetics and feel.
