This thread makes me smile - in a good way. If there was ever a drain for my
pay cheque before I found proper shaving it was my AD for torches/flashlights.
The fora on CPF are to flashlights what this place is for shaving.
Out of the dozens I've purchased over the last couple of years the Nitecore
models are the flashlights I keep in my pocket to EDC. On the keyring
I rotate the various Fenix AAA models (with a 10440 battery where it can
handle it for 3.6v power and more light).
In the boot/trunk of the car I keep a 3D Maglite with a Malkoff LED (handmade in USA) drop-in,
this converts an average Mag into an amazing flashlight.
Vendor wise I stick to www.4sevens.com or www.flashaholics.co.uk
Luckily my new status and recent RAD infection has distracted my from the
world of Q5 and R2 LEDs! (I'm no longer the only bloke excited at the prospect of a power outage
