Fine Platinum today. 20 seconds to load the WD High Mountain. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the NEW LC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

I needed a good shave this morning so I went with a razor that would deliver without any worries about blade quality or potential issues. The Chiseled Face Sherlock was chosen for the same reason as the soap makes excellent lather and as a bonus has a wonderful scent profile. The vintage Erskine with the original Badger knot lathered the soap easily, and I am BBS and AGAIG. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

Great photo sarimento. I have a Swiss made watch with "Basel" as the brand name. I have not been able to find much about the manufacturer. Interesting that there is a city named Basel.

One fine shave today. Some days I really get in a mood to use a boar. This was my second outing with the 10049 and it easily whipped up a substantial lather. The South Florida Wet Shavers Group Miami Nights soap is a very fragrant mixture of ruby red grapefruit, bergamot and lemon. While my nose couldn't discern the multitude of scents in this soap, they all blended to offer a great aroma accompany my noon shave. The soap lathered into a thick, peaky creaminess that was protective and nicely slick -- what I expected from K Shave Worx. The weighty little Holy Black was comfortable in my hand and is a pleasure to use (and why don't I use it more often? Too many razors in my stable to try!) While not quite as sharp as other blades, the Dorco performed well, providing a close, smooth shave. Working a little too hard on my neck for a BBS, which I did get, managed to provide a small weeper, which disappeared on its own. The alum block registered a stinging but there was no lingering irritation. The accompanying after shave had a great aroma and left my face refreshed. I'll have to get back to this soap soon.

Nice shave! Did something different this time. I cleaned up my cheeks and my neck. But keeping my mustache, bottom lip hair and chin. This blade is not stopping. 4th shave and still going strong. Did get some tiny amount of redness and burning but it's gone. Still was a awesome shave! Have a good day!
