I'd feel like I was exercising while shaving. Not for me.
So, yes, it appears most will want to see the MR8 next to this S5, just out of curiosity.
i need to find one of those gillete models that's like 2 feet tall, and make some giant stainless blades for it.
Is that the actual weight of the razor? The website lists 10oz shipping weight, and 5oz seems to be the packaging weight. I sent them an email, also asking when it would be back in stock.
The left might actually be one pound. Lol.
Made from solid brass but I don't have a scale handy but it's little brother is my travel buddy.

WOW!!! That probably is one pound! The one on the right looks to be about 7-10 ounces based on similar that I have, so I do think we are looking at the (previously only imagined) one pounder on the left.
What is the benefit to a 1 lb handle or why use it? If it is purely for fun, I can understand. But I can't see it being comfortable or even practical to use.
It's not bad, actually quite pleasant, keeps a good angle with minimal effort and pulls smoothly
I got an email from razors and more, they said the s5 is about 7 ounces (200g). (less than half a pound)
Where'd you get such a thing?

Found it for sale on USN forum, guy was making titanium handled brushes and had some handles as well
Who needs a jack handle to shave with ????? not me.
Could give arthritis while shaving
