Osage Rub

Hello all,

Did a quick search and didn't immediately find the specific question, so hopefully I'm not out of line ... .

How strong is the Osage Rub menthol scent? Does it dissipate fairly quickly?

Unfortunately, I have allergies and usually avoid most scents.

When someone opens a bottle in Utah, I can tell in Jersey.

Couldn't use it on my face but enjoyed it on my scalp, until it made my hair fall out.

The scent is medicinal and powdery upon dry down. It fades rather quickly. This juice is known for high menthol content.

High menthol, major chill effect. The menthol scent does not linger long at all.

On me, it lasts about 15-20 minutes. Smells like a muscle rub to me, quite mediciney, nice and cold though! Put some glycerine in it and you have a decent AS splash.

Osage Rub has "frozen tundra" like feeling. You may also check Krampert's Finest Frostbite

TWO big points!

Osage provides a great chill. It breaks down quickly. It's in my top five aftershaves.

Bought it. Hated it. Smelled like Vicks. If you want a great menthol chill and a scent that won't offend the people across town, get Proraso.

The manufacturers of Osage Rub and Mennen Skin Bracer, subconsciously made both of these the color green so they could be mixed.

Used it this morning and it burned as if fire from Hades itself torched my face. After that it mellowed out and I applied some Cologne and I was good to go.
