What's new

Your favorite short smoke cigar .

Hirsute

Used to have fun with Commander Yellow Pantyhose
Punch Rare Corono Rothchild
Partagas Rosado Rothchild
Punch Elite Maduro (these things are stupid cheap from JR)

Cohiba Cigarilos!

Just tried a couple of VERY short smokes this weekend. I found a pretty well stocked tobacco and wine specialist up in Aalborg in the north of Denmark and bought a couple of packs of mini cigarilos. One pack of Cohiba and the other Montecristo. (both the Cuban variety).

Fantastic flavors. very short smoke at about 5 or 6 minutes. All flavor, no bite. Nice.

Today's offering...

Tom Gringo, an exclusive of Tobacco Cove in Jacksonville. Mayde, supposedly, with participation of Rocky Patel.

This is supposed to be in Cigar of the Day. I will leave it here, even though it isn't a short smoke, as you may enjoy seeing a cigar you don't come across every day.

Avo #9 is still my favorite cigar, long or short smoke.

Arturo Fuente SS Maddie is great, although not really a 30-minute smoke unless you freight train a bit.

Papas Fritas are all the rage right now.

Where in Denmark? I used to live down in Flensburg, and spent every minute I could up in Jutland.

I live up in a little town called Viborg. Flensburg is down on the German border (about a 1.5 hour drive for me). I was recently further up north in Aalborg and found a Wine/Tobbaconist with some nice cigars. Tried some Cohiba and Montecristo Cigarilos. Very nice. Lots of wrapper flavour with very little filer.

I know Viborg! Used to go through there now and again while on the way up to Skagen, although I usually went through Aalborg. Beautiful country.

If you're looking for a REALLY short smoke, I love Davidoff cigarillos. Full cigar flavor in a 15 minute smoke. They're fun little things

+1 to these. I used to always have a tin of these around. Perfect for when you want that special Davidoff experience but just don't have an hour to devote to it!

Small world!

We have a little summer house close to Aalborg on the west coast. (Skagen is the expensive summer town right up in the most northern part of DK).

My son is heading to the States in the Fall. School trip. He'll be living with a US Host family not too far from Las Vegas. (costing us a fortune !!).

After all the recommendations, I'm giving him a few dollars to get me some Hemmingway Short Stories.

Can anyone give me an idea of the price? Can you get them in boxes of 5 or 10 ??

I think they come in box of 25. So if he picks up 5 or 10 for you they will have to be loose. I think they usually go for about $6 a stick.
