These look very nice! I especially like the bottom scales. Looks like you've spent a good amount of time sanding the blade to a mirror finish!

Thanks. The scales are all the same, just the bottom ones are nearly finished and the top ones just cut roughly to shape and drilled. Yeah lot of sanding involved. Progression is 60 grit to 2k grit, then 1u, .5u, .25u, and .1u diamond paste with a felt wheel on the dremel. It does the job okay, yeah. Those bottom 4 I am pinning now. The top ones I got two sets of scales done now, and one blade about half done. About 20 hrs of hand sanding each blade, sometimes more.

A different version of the trees I carved for the kitchen shown prior. This one is just one tree, 8 ft tall and 8 ft wide that arches over an entertainment unit.
The two baby birds represent the clients children and since she was pregnant at the time I have one hatching from an egg. Further out on the branches are the two adult birds.

This is the third set of these Acanthus leaf designs I've done recently for kitchen cabinets.

And I'm getting back into shooing as I see many of you are also into. Here is my range box I designed. All done out of Mahogany and Birch with dovetailed jointery. Also a nice handle on the case as well! Fits like a glove.
The back panel opens to house my targets. The front opens to reveal the spotting scope that is housed on the top shelf which slides out. It attaches to the pivoting arm to allow me to sight from any level bench at whatever range I'm at or shooting Bullseye.
The second shelf holds three guns , in this case my Target pistols. There is a thumb screw that clamps them securely with felt lined pockets and drawer.
Along the bottom is an open area which hold my ammo. Along the side are two drawers that hold my clips as well as oil bottles and a variety of tools ( screwdrivers, allen wrenches etc.)
On the guns themselves, the S&W model 41 has carved Cherry grips for Bullseye as well as the Ruger Match 22.
The others are just a couple of the pieces I use for IDPA shooting as well as IPSC. Double stack .45 and .40 with flared magwells, my own trigger work, beavertails, custom springs, sears, etc.....
The Kimber Classic Gold Match is also used for Bullesye which I fitted with a custom Barrel. 50 yards , same hole off a rest.

Better view of the Beaver tail grips I made in Cherry for my Ruger. Showing some wear after many years of use! But they still work well.
Up to 8000 rounds reloaded which should last me a few months.

Dude... you get more awesome with every project.

On the guns themselves, the S&W model 41 has carved Cherry grips for Bullseye.

The Model 41 is my hands down favorite gun, love mine with its grips from the 50s but I toy with the idea of getting target grips sometimes. I have several barrels and a bag full of mags. It would by my zombie apocalypse gun for sure.

In a worst case scenario I think I'd grab one of my high cap 45's , a magnum or the least my 16/40 with +P rounds, Gold Dots
or Hydra Shok's .
the model 41 is a 22 match gun. Makes beautiful tight groups but that's about all. Unless you don't want to stop them and just annoy the heck out of 'em

Then too a .50 Desert Eagle or .454 Casull would do nicely if I had them but they don't fit into my description of target/race gun plan.

Nice box set up.
May need one for my Sig X5 Competition...

Here are a couple knives and sheaths that I made recently. Blades are O-1 steel and handles are canvas Micarta with Loveless style bolts.

Buzzard - that's cool stuff! I wish scooters and such didn't have the negative stigma here, they should be utilized more.

Alf, David, thanx! I forgot to add a couple of pics though...

I work in miniature quite often. Still planing a miniature straight! All my minis are to scale, made from real knife steels and materials, properly heat treated and sharpened. Fully functional.

Seriously?! These are amazing!

People before were talking about how you can still make something in a small workshop. I just finished making the handle for this knife which I made from start to finish in my dorm room.
