I became hooked on the Baxters about a year back. Not cheap, but a bottle of the ASB lasts me about a year.

The blade is still like new.

Thanks to Goby, I just got my Personna 74 Blade.I have finished 4 shaves with a Croma Diamant in my L4 Slim set at 9. I figure I will finish the week out with the Croma and then the Personna goes in the Fat Boy for a week.

Then it goes in an HD Slant.

I hope to get at least 30 shaves out of this blade.

Either the blade's fully "broken in" now or I'm become acclimated to the injector razor after a couple of months away from it. Excellent shave. It's looking good for the long run.

day 2 with the Personna 74 - really great shave in 2 passes plus touchup!

Merkur 23c, AOS sandalwood preshave oil/cream/AS and Thayers Witch Hazel

Day 5 for me, the Shark just can't cut it any more.
Day 3 was still good, day 4, borderline, day 5-had to touch up with another razor.
Going to try an Astra next!

Continued smooth sailing...

I should mention that I swish the razor head in alcohol to dry it after each shave. I do a very limited hand-strop before each shave (there's little you can do with an injector head in this respect).

The 74 seems to be doing a bit better in the Krona, for some reason the first pass is not quite as rough.

I do have 2.5X the blade thickness though (.010"). It will be interesting indeed. Maybe sometime I'll cut down a Feather AC blade and try that for a change.
