Shannon's Soaps. Used (nil) this morning. It was slick and post shave is very nice. 12.00 for 4 oz. I will be getting more.
I also have Stirling Sheep unscented and Electric Sheep. Both are good, the price is good too, but I don't think it is superior to Shannon's Soaps.
Haven't tried the Stirling Sheep, Areffa, or House of Mammoth so I can't play.
I voted for B&M. But that's because it's the only soap on the list. For me it's very slick the post shave feel is good as well.
Win on what criteria?

Ive tried a lot of those and for me, using a straight, Shannon’s Chupacabra base is the slickest and best performing, not that most of those listed aren’t good.

From what ive tried, really hardly any differences - tallow isnt the huge variable people seem to believe it is.
I have always believed that tallow soaps were better than their non tallow counterparts. I changed my mind soon after achieving equivalent or superior performance with non tallow soaps such as SV and Pannacrema.
I like tallow soaps if they have other things in them because I think they feel a bit better. As far as shaving, there are some creams that are not tallow that are just as good, but that creaminess or something is missing, but still nice. I have GFT and La Toja, for examples, that are really very good, but have no tallow.
