SE vs DE

I doubt I have the most challenging whiskers on the planet... but I do have dense, old man, grey whiskers that are fairly coarse. I get 12 shaves with my DE razors and also with my SE AC razors....

In all these discussions, technique has to be factored in... as well, as specific razors.

The AC razors I’ve used are the ESC/Alpha Shaving Claymore Evolution; the ATT X1; 2 La Faulx razors, one bronze and the other stainless steel.

I do quite a bit of pre-shave prep to soften up these coarse whiskers. I really do like both razor formats.

It's a bit unfair to compete for blades with the best double-sided tool holder and antique SE.
