Proraso Green Summer

First time posting after lurking for a while. As for many others, Proraso green was my introduction to the world of wet shaving, so it feels like an appropriate topic for my first B&B post.

Just tried the pre-shave for the first time. What a lovely scent and feeling. Unfortunately I don’t have the aftershave anymore, and I’ll have to fix that. For now I think Clubman is a respectable substitute as it’s just as classic. Comunque tutto verde

Inspired by @Marco , I used the pre/post shave as post for the first time, followed by the splash. Great finish!

Once again, I used the pre as pre and post. It’s very nice as post but, I don’t think I’ll keep this up. I do enjoy it but, it makes an already short lasting product go even quicker!

Where does one acquire a key like the one on your tube? While using the razor handle against the countertop is effective, this arrangement seems better.

Sorry for the late reply. I got it on Amazon. It is a Pre de Provence key.

It’s summer. It’s hot. It may even be smoky depending on where you are. IMO, there’s nothing quite like Proraso green to cool things off. My buddy @Marco and I are starting this thread for everyone to share their Proraso green shaves. I myself like to use the full complement of pre-shave, cream, and aftershave.View attachment 1679887

You all are a bad influence. After this thread and the Bigelow vs Proraso thread, I dug out an old, mostly used small tube of CO Bigelow and used it this morning. The result was an excellent shave. So naturally I had to go order some more to get it back in my den along with the red, which I like but haven't had in a good while, and blue since I've never used that one and my son-in-law says it's his favorite.
