Proraso Green Summer

It’s summer. It’s hot. It may even be smoky depending on where you are. IMO, there’s nothing quite like Proraso green to cool things off. My buddy @Marco and I are starting this thread for everyone to share their Proraso green shaves. I myself like to use the full complement of pre-shave, cream, and aftershave.

I began using the Prorasso Green preshave again for my most recent shaves. It is amazing how cool that is alone with stick soap. This thread is a good enough reason bring all three back together for me!

I am so very grateful towards my dear friend Trey @CJB3 for starting this thread after I specifically asked him to kick it off! Proraso The Ever-Green, as I like to call it, is going to be my main weapon for this summer. No question!

i dont have the aftershave lotion yet.
and i think my preshave is off so gota get a new one. i love the scent and as OP said it really cools things off in this southeast asian humidity.
i do feel though the i get a closer shave when using carthusia though.

Prorasso Green all around.
Even used my new Prorasso mug.
Cold water plus Prorasso Green is one cool shave!

I used Proraso exclusively for the first couple of years of wet shaving. I even bought some in Italy, which was cool for me. Proraso is great indeed.

I haven't used any in a while but this thread has piqued my interest again.

Quick shave with the Karve CB B Open Comb, Proraso Green, King C. Gillette blade, Omega Boar Pro brush and Aveeno Moisturizer. Great close Sunday shave. 8.5/10. Cheers

Proraso has gone through many reformulations over the years. The current Super Formula is the best of them all, Sir.

Here below a 1958 advertising that glorifies Proraso's very first wet shaving product: the legendary Pre-post shave cream! Introduced in the 1940's it has always been known as the "Preshave miracle".

The early Pre-post glass jars had a metal lid and were labelled "Prodotti Frabelia".

The Proraso pre-shave takes the shave to the next level, IMO. I also rub a little on my face before I apply the splash.
