Oktoberfest/Marzen beers

Hofbräu, a typical Helles Festbier @ 6.3%

Lighter in body and taste than the Hacker but still having a bit more alcohol and hops than the above.

The formal looks great, Hannes!

My only other lingering question was explaining/describing that "amphibious landing craft door" fly flap on the lederhosen 😬, but maybe the mods won't allow it.... 😉

Nice pics!
It's a rather simple arrangement. Behind the front which is called Latz or sometimes "gate" are two regular buttons to hold everything together. Not the quickest solution to get rid of 2-3 liters of beer but a safe one ;)

Ok. Nothing on my neck of the woods reaches out that far.

What's the distribution foot print of morelin? I just read that they laid off the founder in 2020. Bummer. I don't know what that did to the beer quality. They had good German beers.

Let us know how the Great lakes turns out I just saw that today in- store, new around these parts.

In vt.
Van trapp makes a good marsen year-round, Vienna lager.
I have not had their Oktoberfest this year.
Zero gravity brewing has a very good Octoberfest.
I opted for Burlington beer company Octoberfest. Will try tomorrow.
Queen City brewery makes a very good Octoberfest and very good German beers.
I'll have to disagree with a person who said Sam Adams. Ymmv, but It might be the best commercial available Octoberfest conus. If you want to go far you go together if you want to go fast you go alone kind of deal.
Bells Oktoberfest last year was terrible
