Hello everyone. I have been doing a lot of farm work for the parentsl units. I have an Amazon list, which I got a surprise from. A parental unit bought me a new Merkur 34c. That is really cool. I now have three tried and true or ole' reliable razors. A 1974 Gillette Tech which was dad's, an Edwin Jagger DE89, and now the 34c. I am excited. Fun stuff.

I was thinking the same thing. I am not a collector of anything. I have what I need now for a lifetime of shaving.

I had a 34C. They are nice razors.
I would guess that a good percentage of people who post here have or have had a 34C.

I do, it was gifted to me. As of this typing I have not tried it yet.
If you want a small step up in efficiency, check out a fatip gentile! It still remains as mild as these but more efficient.

I want to buy the glow in the dark version when it is back in stock.
I have to admit that I am a little scared of open comb razors.

34-C could be your grail if it gives you shave you want.
I'm also looking forward to your review of the PAA Filament... For me, it's a nice little razor and gives me 12 hour shaves. I know yours was free, but @~ $30, it competes well with much more expensive razors, at least, that has been my experience.
