Hello everyone. I did some more digging into a shave set my dad had that I never knew he owned. The razor seems to be a Gillette Tech. It is labeled Made In England U4. That makes it 1974, correct? The Old Spice mug also seems 70s. I asked my mom about it, and she put the puzzle pieces together. Mom said she bought this for dad in 1974 from the Thalhimers department store as a birthday gift. She said there should also be a matching bottle of Old Spice aftershave too. Mom said this was a typical department store shave kit for the time. If all this is true, then the dates and story line up. Pretty cool.

Yes there is. It has no smell, feels slice when wet like a glycerin base, and does not lather well.
I'm surprised. I have a puck of vintage OS and it lathers like a dream.
Great to be able to use and appreciate family heirlooms!!
