R89 with the new Razorock HD Hollow handle. I love this combo. Perfectly balanced, comfortable performer. my goto when I’m looking for a smooth, mild shave. It’ll always be in my rotation (unless Mühle makes a ss version!)

Tonight I decided to change things up a bit for Muhle/MdC Monday so I lathered my MdC Original with the Kosmo STF to produce that oh so luxurious lather. I have never had a problem with this setup and can't imagine I ever will. I loaded the P74 blade into the R41 to give me a new perspective on the blade. When I started I found it incredibly comfortable and the razor/blade combo gave me a fantastically close shave with no irritation (this doesn't always happen with the R41 as it can sometimes be a little rough with the wrong blade)
A fine shaving experience was had by all and left me with a comfortable DFS++ result.

Tonight for Muhle/MdC Monday I used the same setup as last week with the Kosmo lathering the MdC Original. Just checking out the MdC I realised this is my 89th shave with it and it isn't even down 1cm yet, I really have no idea how long it might last but I am guessing it will be a very long time. For the 40th shave with the P74 the R41 the result was excellent, the blade has really impressed me and it left me very smooth.

Keeping this post lean to avoid triple posting the same shave setup in the GRUME and Rocca threads.
Two Mühle team players today with the Rocca R95 and the Purist Silvertip Badger brush with ebonite handle. I have this brush about a year now, and it's blooming beautifully. It also lathers amazingly good, with soft bristles which do have a little bit of scrub. The ebonite handle is lovely, but might need some polishing work soon with Pipe mouthpiece polish. Those are also made of ebonite so this polish works quite well on the handle without being too abrasive. That job requires some time to do, and luckily the knot can be screwed out of the handle to avoid getting any polish on the bristles. I'll give it a few more weeks before I provide a blinding shine to the ebonite.

Tonight was another outstanding shave for Muhle/MdC Monday lathering with the Rocca brush was a true pleasure though the brush was slightly too damp on my first lather. That was easily fixed with an extra few swirls on the soap and the remaining passes were fantastic. Despite being in a bit of a hurry the R41/P74 combo gave me the best shave I've had with them in a while really impressing me on my 47th shave with it.

Lovely shave today, with a newly opened Mühle Sandalwood soap puck, which has been waiting to be lathered for a year now. I finally decided that the Mühle Grapefruit & Mint puck is over its zenith and that it is time for a new team player. Great performance from this soap as expected and absolutely lovely scent.

Tonight for MdC/Muhle Monday i reverted to the week before lasts setup. I love the Kosmo because it is like it just deposits the lather on my face like magic. With MdC being such a fantastic soap it is no wonder it is my second favourite day of the week (after SV Saturday of course).
The 54th use of the P74 blade was yet another smooth affair as it just keeps wracking up the shaves.
If Muhle made a Milder/Less Aggressive Rocca I think it would be hot seller, because it is no POT METAL.
Hopefully one day they’ll release a stainless R89. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
