Blade: Perma Sharp Stainless (2) and a three pass shave WTG, XTG, ATG
Post: Cool water rinse and a splash of Myrsol Emulsion

Friday evening, Nov 8th
Does it count...if I use the Fatboy just to clean up around mouth after the Feather AC?
The Feather was great, I did WTG and ATG easily with the ProGuard blade.
It just did not buff totally, so Fatboy did the edging.
Tried out Dave's Matador almond soap, a nice Cella-esque tub, with the VieLong brush.
Finished with ABC milky apricot balm.


And the new printer arrived and is working great!

So I got that Proraso green I mentioned before and used it for my shave tonight (by itself rather than in a super lather as I've been doing with KMF). I also turned my FatBoy up to 5. I've been using it on 3. The verdict: the best suave I've had since I switched to a DE and wet shaving.

Completely off topic, anyone know a store I could look in to try to find Proraso locally? We don't have a lot here but the rumor mill has us getting a Bath and Body Works soon.

Closing out the week (for me).
This Saturday evening, shower then (trusty) Musgo Glyce face wash.
Panna Crema Labdano tallowy soap with the restored re knotted Rubberset M200
First pass with the Feather SS was easy.
Second pass and cleanup with the Fatboy and Silver Blue (#4)
No irritation. And nice finish with cool washcloth soaked with some AV Ice Blue.

and just for nostalgia fans...both the Fatboy and Polaroid Model 80A were made at about same year.
Coincidentally, both in Massachusetts.
Razor originally priced at $4 and Polaroid at $78.
Today, razor worth more than $80 and Polaroid worth less than $4.
as Billy Stern would have said...Time marches on!

First ever shave using "The Fat". And that stuff is everything that everyone promised it would be DFS!

Performed a another shave with all passes set at a very mild 3. Apparently my face really likes this setting as I encountered practically 0 irritation and burn. My Fatboy shaves are getting better with each attempt.

Nice choice and a good excuse for me to try to learn my FB better.

i really like the TTO and the shaves are pretty good, but still not my favorite.

i like the mild side, and alternate between setting 1 and 2.
