Franks Boar Brush

Just recieved this brush last night and I must say it seems to be of good quality. Nice handle, feels good in the hand and knot is done nicely too. Haven't tried it yet, will soon. But for $9.88, about $12.00 shipped, this could compare to higher priced brushes.

He makes good brushes. I get my line from him currently. They in the end come from Lin Jun brushes in China which is realy the factory, check out his site.

These will never go mainstream here as Ian is not a good buisnessman. There is no way American vendors can compete with this pricing which he seems to sell too cheap or low. They are a good solid piece however.

Possibly, I understand all bristle comes from China and I think there is less variety in grades then badger. I guess it depends on how it breaks in. I personally would rather spend a few bucks more to get a boar from Portugal or a few less to get a brush from Italy.
