Envy carbon fiber brush

Nathan went above and beyond I.M.O. on these carbon fiber layed brushes. I got a one off from his website but there are other variants at West Coast Shaving

The carbon fiber handles caught my attention and look very nice. Unfortunately, I find that the combination of the fan knot and high loft on the synthetic Envy brushes result in less backbone than I prefer.

I did some hand lathers to clean it out and i can see the less back bone. I got this in his black wolf as i have 2 of his alluminati in his various badger knots. Yeah i have 3 Envy, I kind of like that fact that he is 20 some odd miles away and i can support a local in the shaving world

Im sure that mostly what youre paying for is the exclusivity of it. Im sure that Envy doesnt make thousands and thousands of those brushes. It really is a beautiful handle though.

actually a great deal for hand crafted carbon fiber brush.
Muehle charges much more for theirs.
