Great to see you in this thread, my friend.I was out for a walk yesterday listening to my Pandora station that’s been trained for grunge and Seattle scene music. Bob Dylan’s Knocking on Heaven’s Door unexpectedly played. I couldn’t mash the thumb up icon fast enough. Such a brilliant version of the song.
Such an underrated song. So meaningful. I could say the same of Dear Landlord and maybe even I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine. Maybe not on the last one. It pretty much a redo of Joe Hill.Planxty covering Dylan's "I Pity the Poor Immigrant"
Wow, that really is a good version. I do not know the group Planxty at all. which seems strange as Wikipedia tells me they were really important ("tranformative") to Irish folk music. Sort of like an Irish Fariports, perhaps?Planxty covering Dylan's "I Pity the Poor Immigrant"
