Best Artisan Soap makers Today?

Hi Gents,

The artisan soap works seems in constant flux- which is a fantastic result of innovation if you ask me.

So as of today, who is your favorite artisan soapmaker- if price is not a factor?

If I had to pick one: Barrister and Mann

There are many others I also love: Dr. Jon's, Stirling, Mike's Natural, Beaver Woodwright, Cold River

There are loads of good ones. My favorites are:

Mickey Lee
Through the Fire Fine Craft
Strop Shoppe
Soap Commander

That is all.

Luxury soaps (price not object):

PannaCrema Nuavia Blu
Martin de Candre
Antica Barbieria Colla

Lower price but great performance:

Mystic Water (especially post-shave)
Barrister & Mann
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements (3.0 formula)

My favorites, in no particular order: Mike's, QCS, CRSW. These are all tallow.

In non-tallow: Captain's Choice, Mama Bear's.

I find tallow based soaps give me the most comfortable shaves. YMMV.

Wow that's a tough question, there are so many good ones. At the moment I am really enjoying Soap Commander.

however the usual mentions, CRSW, MLSW, B&M and Dapper Dragon all are great artisans.

TexLaw

Fussy Evil Genius
Dadgum. That's a tough question. I haven't found many that I'm not into. My favorites, at the moment, are B&M, Stirling, Mikes, Catie's Bubbles, Mystic Waters, Queen Charlotte's, and (the highly underappreciated) Country Club for Men.

Tiki Bar - Amanda has a PHD is Chemistry and her soaps are second to none. Both Tallow and Vegan, I prefer the Tallow.
