No green beers or overdoing it for me.on St. Patrick's, but I did finally get over to this place...
This is Yoerg Brewpub in St. Paul. My supervisor at work told me to get over here, and he was right; SO worth the trip. They do brew their own stuff, but the big draw is the staggering selection of imports... 16 pages in the menu. I had this with a corned beef rueben:
Came in the brewhouse's glass, too. Excellent and attentive service from the staff. I'll definitely be going back.

Pilsner Urquell in Prague City
So many spikes on those buildings. Did they spike the Urquell as well?
If you feel it different than the one you drink in Vienna, there might be secret agents around.

Draft from the tank is definitely smoother but I can’t detect a difference between bottles and cans.So many spikes on those buildings. Did they spike the Urquell as well?

255 Amber Ale from Waconia Brewing. Nothing spectacular, but very okay.....

When in Prague…
Beers I had are marked top down respectively the glasses left to right. Usually I’m not a big fan of IPA‘s but both the Antos as well as the Matuska were excellent.
The whole fun was 1 hour and 15 Euros

Took a half day vacation on Friday. Got home, turned on "Green Acres," watched Lisa make "hotscakes" for Oliver, and I had this:
Another American version of a Czech dark. Really nice. Full, gently sweet malt with mild floral hops. Thick head with impressive glass lacing.

Started much too cold. Will be sipping throughout this evening’s hockey game.
Beers like this are better when served at cellar temp. Case in point....
Made it back to Yoerg's. Another wonderful import from Scotland. The waitress told me she had it, but it wasn't chilled. Told her to bring it on, it'd be fine - and it was.
I think this is the first ever I've had from the Dragon's Milk series. Surprisingly smooth, warm but no alcohol burn. Got a kick out of swirling up foam and drinking through it.
