Last Saturday the wife came back from the GoodWill store with this for me.

Got it for five bucks. Looks like someone got it for Christmas and didn't want it so they donated it to Goodwill. There was still some wrapping paper stuck to it.

I've heard alot about AoS stuff here and other places but there isn't a store anywhere with in 600 miles of me so I never thought I'd be trying any soon but fortune favored the foolish this time.

The products are very nice, I don't know that I would pay retail for them but they are quallity.

I really like the ASB and the cream gets good reviews here. Before I discovered wet shaving I tried the pre-shave oil and never really liked it, it is much too thick for me.

Excellent find and congratulations! I've used the AoS unscented cream and find it to be top notch. I primarily use soaps, but will occasionally pull out my AoS, Anthony Logistics, KMF and Proraso creams. I would place it at the top of that short list for performance.

So I was browsing ebay and came across a barbers bag with stuff in it. A bunch of straight razor goodies and two mechanical hair trimmers (not pictured). It had been listed since last April with a BIN. Picture was a little blurry.

The strop actually might be usable for most of it's length, the end it roughed up to crap, but most of it is pretty soft and smooth.

Razors... 1 is rusty but looks like it'll be nice once cleaned. The biggest one has a chip in it, but not so large the razor's trashed, the third has a touch of tang rust but otherwise is fine.

Some really intricately patterned smooth green stone. No idea what it is, but just from what else was in this kit I'm guessing it's a VERY pretty thuringian. It's about the right texture (feels like my china 12k). Color is unlike any thuringian I've seen though. It's a damn shame he cut up the original stone to make smaller pieces... it must have been gorgeous.

And a rounded flint of that stone. I'm thinking it's a good slurry for it.

You people with your 8"x3" synthetics. You probably have slurry stones bigger than this old barbers hones. The biggest one of these is 2x2.
