Which Soaps Are Sold by Kilograms?

On a trip to Genoa, Italy a couple years ago, I re-visited a great local 'shave/pharmacy' shop.
They had a bulk shave croap for sale by the 'tenth of a kilo' (etto).
You decide how many 'ettos' you want, and they scoop and pack it in a baggie.
Traditional Italian marzipan-scented. Shaves great, much like Cella.

Beautiful photos!
In Bologna, another large Italian city, there is another similar local shave shop called "aguzzeria del Cavallo", in the area near Piazza Maggiore and it's well stocked with razors, shaving creams and soaps, very ancient pieces and all other shaving beauty where you can just get lost. 🙂

Unfortunately not. I went there a couple of years ago to shop but I wasn't able to take photos because I was in a bit of a hurry.

They also have a 2 ounce artisanal shaving soap here for around 15 euros, if you happen to be in Italy and are passing through Bologna I absolutely recommend stopping by.

They don't make the soap themselves. As it is written, it's made for their shop by a Tuscan craftsman. I don't know if they ship the soap abroad, I don't think so, but if you want it I can call to ask for more information.

Seems like Europeans have more options than me. I can't easily find a place to buy most of these suggestions. Ah, well. I have a kilo of TFS coming to me courtesy of my friends at Italian Barber.
Apart from Myrsol which is Spanish, the 1kg formats are almost all Italian and almonds shaving soaps, the classic Italian shaving soap. I don't know if you like them.
In addition to all those that have been reported to you, also add Antica Barberia from the Italian company Mondial, the fragrances are still almond but also Citrus and Original Talc.

Christian Nobel Shaving Soap Almond 1 Kg , orange blossom (Zagara) 1 Kg

Last but not least is the 500 gram box, there is Narco$ Super Coconut and Almond 80 Colombia Shaving Soap. It says Colombia on the package but in reality it is always produced in Italy. 😂

I guess I left out the part about accessible to someone in the USA. :)

I'm good in any case. Just received yesterday. I would like to try some of those nicer soaps some day, though. Looks like Mondial has a USA distribution channel.

I didn't know about this. They already offer their soaps at excessive prices in Italy, who knows how much they cost in US stores.
Several years ago Mondial soaps were always produced by TFS, I'm currently not updated to know if they have changed or continue to produce them.

$45 for 1000g. Not bad. That's roughly double what I paid for Tcheon Fung Sing, but still quite affordable considering a kilo of shaving soap/cream goes a long way.

I bought some Vitos last year for a lower price but shipping from the UK to the USA was expensive.
