One Fantastic Soap!

I find TFS soap makes a fine lather more easily and high quality more than any other I own. I have Castle Forbes soap that cost $44.00 and it is a great soap, but I feel TFS at just $6.65 is better. I wish I found this soap sooner.

Sir, you have no idea how many thank you I have received so far for having recommended Tcheon Fung Sing Crema Purissima Per Barba.
And, by the way, here in Italy it costs €1.95!

I think I've already seen that soap. And I've seen that razor, too...
There is a saying: "great minds shave alike." I'm certain you've seen this soap and razor in photos from several gentlemen of impeccable taste, whose posts have helped me build a modest collection of high quality gear... You certainly belong to that group!

May I ask, Marco, what is your favorite aftershave splash to follow a TFS shave?

Here below is your answer, kind Sir.

Thank you for the recommendation, Marco. I just went to buy a sample of Floïd The Genuine, but had to stop after reading the ingredients. Unfortunately, my skin cannot tolerate lavender essential oil in any amount, though my nose loves it! Biology is wondrous and confusing.

I am ordering both Proraso splashes, and suspect either will make for a nice "scent journey" after TFS.

Then you shouldn't have read the ingredients and all would have been fine. Duh! :letterk1:

Proraso is always a very solid choice, Sir. I also suggest the excellent TFS Witch Hazel, a really great multipurpose marvel that acts as both a skin toner and an aftershave lotion.

This sounds like I am missing out on a great inexpensive soap! I loved Vitos Red but Cella lit my face up; at the conclusion of this years GRUYERE I may have to grab a tub!

three-tu-tu, three-tu-tu
I just got a tub (well, it's very small, so maybe we should call it half a tub) and it's nice, but definitely not my new favorite. Slow loader compared to my usuals (MdC, CSS, SV) but a good shave. It doesn't seem to rinse to a clean feeling for me - my face feels a little greasy for the rest of the day. I have dry skin, so that's not the end of the world, but not enjoyable.

I do use Thayers and Clinique moisturizer after each shave, so it's entirely possible that this soap would be more suited for someone who doesn't follow with aloe and moisturizer.

Since I have all three of my favorites it's unlikely this will see much use.
