Where to buy supplies in Kansas City?

Nah. Go east just a bit... :tongue_sm

Howdy neighbor. You going to the demo derby Saturday? My girls are trying to get me to take them.

No but there is a parade in Gardner Sat morning I may go to. Have lived in this town close to 5 years and have yet to go to the Johnson County Parade.

Is the demo derby at the fair grounds?

I'll be lucky if my teenager is awake before noon today... so the parade is out. We thought we were going to the derby, but decided not to tonight. http://www.jocokansasfair.com/schedule.htm Starts at 7 pm and it's $12 to get in. I was told you better get your tickets quick as they'll sale out.

Oh, to keep this thread on topic - Burma shave brushes are at Price Chopper. :nonod:

For you chaps who are coming late to this thread, remember the L'occitane store on Nichols Road at the Country Club Plaza. Great edts and they usually have the shave soap as well.

Regards, Todd

I was there this week to pick up shaving soap and they were very helpful. They gave me a ton of samples for other products too!

Kansas City!! I live near World's of Fun, have not had very much luck finding decent shave stuff locally. Buy most of my stuff online.

Relocating to KC soon (job is moving to KC starting May 23rd), so I'm bumping this thread to keep track of places I need to visit once I get settled in. That is, if SWMBO lets me.

Nice to see a local thread--will try to check in from time to time. From Lees Summit, no local purchases here--I just buy online.

Hey KC B&Bers, just wanted to throw an update here. I went to Whole Foods near 119th & Metcalf (behind the Cheesecake Factory) and purchased some Thayers scented witch hazel and Kiss My Face shaving cream! The Thayers was $9.99 each while the KMF was on sale for $5.99. They had every scent of KMF, 2 scents of KMF AS while there were 5 choices of Thayers Witch Hazel.

How about an annual bump. I'm sure this place has been mentioned but the Gent's Place in Leawood has quite a selection of razors and product. Anyone know a local source for Proraso aftershave?
