What razor/blade did you use today

1965 Schick
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Arko

Pinaud Clubman

This is my first proper shave with Schick.

It has noticeably more blade presence than contemporary Gillettes.

It is nevertheless a very comfortable and gentle shaver.

However, I started feeling stubble just 2.5 hours later.

Too early to make any judgments - it took me months to get proficient with Superspeeds.

Razor:
Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette 7-O Clock Permasharp Stainless. DAY # 1 USEAGE
Soap/Cream: Cremo Classic Citrus (Secret Sent-less IMHO)
Bowl: N/A
Brush/Instrument: Fingers
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Today using my, Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech. Did a Shave with 3 passes, With, Across, &, Against the Grain, using a Gillette 7-O Clock Permasharp Stainless, there was almost zero blade feel today, blade just glided, removed Beard. AWSOME BLADE. Lot of bang for buck.

Today’s Shave was several tads short off the achieving a perfect, rating would be 9.8+. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave. This was the 1st. Use of this blade.

Still working on same Tube of Cremo Classic Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it don’t yell Citrus. Started Tube of Cremo 01/08/2025 will be interested to see how long its lasts? But Tube is almost Empty, have one more days use?

Old Vintage Gillette’s, are good Razor’s, still working well enough to put a big smile on my face daily. These Old Vintage Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech, an underestimated work horse, could be almost Grail Razor at 78+ years young. I am a Vintage Gillette Junkie, they work well with Sharp New Quality Blade IMHO. Could all These super pricy Razor be HYPE, as all you need is a Vintage, and GREAT BLADE? May my Old Pre-War Fat Handle Gillette Tech is a sheep pretending to be a Wolf.

Alum Ladd

Could be most likely nutjob stuff
Razor: English Souplex Open Comb c.1934-39
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (ISR #15)
IMG_20250205_173430_951.jpg

Great result on a near 4 day growth tonight. The Souplex is a wonderful performer.

Near BBS despite using a year old blade that was last used throughout Feb '24. Fantastic blade. Good prep and a thin slick lather helped me through.
