6) Germany: Aftershave Balm Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm.
7) Spain: EDT Nautica Classic.

First shave for the week went well. Using another Vintage Rembrandt Stainless blade this week. It didn’t disappoint for its first shave. The only thing to report is a little sting when I used my Alum Block. I would rate the shave as a 9.5/10.

After two rougher shaves my goal was to get a shave without weepers. Blade selecting I stumbled upon an old Derby container. About the least sharp blades available imo, so why not?

They performed as expected. Quite draggy, because of the lack of sharpness, but also managed to shave without weepers. My face is thankful. Not sure if I'll be using it a second time though.

BobbyB’s Daily 1-Pass (WTG & ATG) Minimalist Shave Report

A dollop a day sends my beard away

TODAY’S SHAVE AND CLEANUP:

Prep: Liquid face and hand soap.
Razor for Shaving / buffing: King C Gillette with WCS 84S handle.
Razor for tight spots and buffing A/R: Van der Hagen with K C Gillette blade
Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum Greece # 90 Shave # 2
Brush: Noble Otter USA
Soap: Noble Otter’s RAWR
Bowl: Phoenix Shaving scuttle / and Timeless Blue bowl for cleaning the razor during the shave.
Witch Hazel: Dollar Tree’s generic brand
After Shave: Aqua Velva Musk
Alum: WCS Alum Stick (Philippines)
Quality: DFS+
Nicks: 0
Weepers: 0
Stubble: Light
Comments: Gentlemen as of today, I am back to two razors. I activated my Van der Hagen for tight shaving spots where the KCG head doesn’t perform well. Yesterday, I had lots of trouble shaving under the jaw joint, and under the nose with the KCG.
Today’s shave yielded a smooth face feel with good results under the jaw and nose.

Well it happened! A mighty fine BBS with the Yaqi Tile. What a great way to end the shaving week on. It was a weeks best shave in several aspects. It just clicked. Uber smooth and pleasant. I wish all my shaves could be this way.

I have not used the Fatip in a long time and it kind of showed too. Slight skin tenderness post shave and not quite the closeness that I have come to expect. Still it is a respectable shave. I hope that I can adjust my technique to the Fatip as the week progresses.

A perfectly good shave, if not a perfect shave. Not the closest I've ever had - a combination of this blade and this razor - but that's okay. I'm not making any public appearances today and don't expect too much scrutiny. :smile1:

Razor: GEM Push-Button
Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (1)
Brush: Semogue SOC Finest w/ cherry handle
P/S: Prep pre-shave cream (Italian)
Soap: Haslinger Sandelholz
A/S: Dickinson's witch hazel
A/S: Proraso Red

DFS+

The first shave with a fresh GEM blade can be a bit rougher than subsequent ones. So, a mild razor like the Push-Button can be a good choice. Light pressure only, please.

Nice lather from the Haslinger Sandelholz soap using the SOC Finest.
