Super Iridium blades

The shark also provides wonderful shaves. $12 for 100 blades is a better deal than derbys. Provides a better quality shave.
I just picked up some of these From Melyus, looking forward to trying them.

But for cheap blades, I still think nothing beats a Red IP.

Amazing, the hoops we must jump through just to let someone know where shaving products can be purchased.
There is a reason for that regarding certain vendors.

As far as banned vendors, I'm quite OK with the B&B policy. Enterprising shavers can always find decent blades; you just have to be resourceful. It is not a big deal. There are other forums.

Iridium Supers are great blades. I agree that they are a nice replacement for the Swedes. I'm on my 7th shave with one blade and it's still going.

I really like the longevity of the Super Iridiums. I would compare them to 7 O"Clocks in sharpness & smoothness but has the edge in the amount of smooth shaves you can get out of them.

Excellent blade

Oh well...my neighborhood grocery store sells them and after asking about to the vendor he tells me they are made at the Gillette plant in St.Petersburg. They are nice blades!!

If anyone is interested in a pack or two just let me know...

Antdad, I would gladly take some microscope photos of the Shark if I had some.
I may be reordering some SI's from the fellow in South Surrey, UK. If he sells Sharks, I will get some.
I do have one slight problem though. The company I work for is going through some tough times. I and many others will be furloughed (means vacation without pay) for most of the month of July. I won't have access to the photo microscope during this time.
Thanks,
Mike

After a few shaves with these, I concede to really liking them. I get no irritation, but the potential for a weeper increases. Still, very smooth, and I can feel the difference mid-shave. That said, I have sharks on the way...(and more red packs).

Just received these blades in a sample pack and had to try them right off of the bat and all I can say after just one shave is WOOOOW !!! These things are smooth and very nice on the old face. Now I know why everybody rants about these blades ! Now I just hope for four good three pass shaves !

Regards,
John

Count me as another Iridium fan.
I'm currently stocking 500 of these sharp & smooth blades, and I bet the unnamed supplier from south-eastern Britain is just waiting for a big container ship coming from St.Petersburg...

I am not a big fan. Tried one the other day and had a decent shave. When I looked at the blade two days later it appeared stained/rusty. Anyone else notice this?

No, but I guess you can get a bad one now and then.
I have been using them for about 6 months and I have no problems.
Five or six good shaves out of every blade.
Now, if I can just learn to make my str8ts shave this good.

Yes, I've noticed this, but the rust only forms on the top of the blade. I haven't had a problem so far, though (I'm currently using an HD).

I'm still enjoying the Super Iridium. I think I've used at least 10 of them by now. If you decide to give these a try be sure to use one for at least two shaves before you decide you don't like them. I find that they are at their best by the second or third shave and maintain that fine edge for at least 2 more shaves.

I'm looking to try these and the shark blades. Can someone point me in the direction of where to purchase these? Small packages would be best as I don't want 100 blades that I don't like. But of that's how I need to order them then so be it.
