What's new

Maybe I'll learn something.

You use other blades besides GSB's?
Do the other Cult members know about this Eric?
I haven't received marching orders yet. To tell the truth I haven't used a GSB since 2017. I looked when I saw them for 14 bucks on that river store, but, realized I have enough Perma-Sharp and Wizamets with glue dots without adding anymore.

Oh you were talking to Eric. That makes more sense.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I decided for sedation rather than general anesthetic so I could come home today and not have to have tubes down my throat. I don't have anyone I trust to come over for me. So they removed both the old cyst that burst in 2021 and the one that I developed afterwards. It was partially filled with fluid which was a worry. Still they got me taken care of today. I feel a slight tightness right now, but, it will probably get worse. They gave me a few oxy's for emergencies, but, said I should use ibuprofen or Tylenol first. I am pretty sure my psychiatrist told me I can't take opioids due to one of my meds. I have just messaged her and taken two Tylenol for starters. I talked to my brother a minute ago and the only day his girlfriend has off is Christmas day. I am only going down for a night and two days, so I will head down tomorrow to spend Christmas eve with dad, and day with him before driving back.
Glad it worked out ok, Michael. Have a great holiday with your father.

How are you doing, Michael?
Doing fine. I took a couple Tylenol yesterday and they helped. I woke up this morning with slight pain and that is handled again. I would rather not use they oxycodone when I will know I will be driving. I am currently waiting to get good and woken up before getting on the road.

I wish you and everyone else in the journal section a safe and happy holidays.

Thank you, sir! Be well.

So I have been noticing over the last few weeks, maybe longer, I have trouble staying in the lanes on the highway. Not ideal in town going to appointments much worse driving through three states to visit family. I had not had any pain pills but Tylenol and I am doing this still. As a matter of fact I left my cane and Oxcycodone here. Cane was laziness. I locked the door and figured I will be with family. Dad has Lazy Boy recliners. They almost get me high enough to stand up. My younger brother has the soft leather couches that swallow me up. He is a sturdy boy and can help me stand. I did try to fall twice in his bathroom and knocked his over poddy shelf around a bit. Spent yesterday and until lunch today with Dad and his girlfriend. Afterwards went to my brothers and visited with him and my half bro that I have missed large chunks of his life so it was good visiting with him. So far I have taken two Tylenol every couple hours. This morning I noticed it after sleeping in the Lazy Boy. Dad gave me one of his left over Hydrycodone That helped for a good couple of hours from biscuits and gravy with Coffee to Chinese Buffet. Maybe a new side effect?

Is it swell time?
The good thing is that you are with family and people closest to you Michael. On that sense it should give a safe environment.

I have no idea what the dosis of Tylenol is or in fact what it does, but I ik do know that with certain medications you are not allowed to drive in my country. So you be careful with yourself as well alright?!

Cheers,

Guido

Tylenol is the brand name for Acetaminophen and I am taking 1000 mg each. no trouble driving. Oxycodone is another story. I do not drive on Opiods though.I drove back to Indianapolis on the 25. I only stayed for one night in Tennessee.
